Developers Cram Their Apps into Smart Watches
The age of wearable computing has come. Both hardware makers and software developers hope that this will be the future of smart phones.New apps are being developed every day and this future seems promising.Google Glasses are currently under their beta phase and there is still some work to be done but on the other hand wearable watches have already hit the market. They have the same apps that you could find in any other smart phone so you don't have to give up on your favorite applications and some others like an app that gives biometric data like heart rate and blood pressure. The fact that they use operating systems like Android who has been around for a long time makes them a lot easy to adapt to.Smart-watch makers also firmly believe that all wearable computing devices will get better. We soon may find them everywhere from our jewellery to our clothes.“The beauty of being in the business we’re in is that we don’t really care what form factor ultimately wins,” says Runkeeper’s Jacobs. “Wherever wearables emerge that are fitness-friendly and are used by hundreds of millions of people, we want to power the software. It doesn’t matter to us whether that’s your watch, your phone, your glasses, or the phone tying into sensors in your clothes.”
